Version
Why you need this to be a World Changer
- God will not trust us with the big things unless we
are faithful with the smaller things.
Well done, good and faithful servant;
you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler
over many
things... Matthew 25:21
- God has gifted each of us to
be used in His service. We need to be using those gifts.
Having then gifts differing according
to the grace
that is given to us, let us use them... Romans 12:6
Steps
of Involvement
(Exodus 3)
- Preparation for involvement (1-4).
Now Moses was tending the
flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian. And
he led the
flock to the back of the deser… Exodus 3:1
- Call to involvement (5-10).
Come now, therefore, and I will
send you to Pharoah that you may bring My people, the children
of
Israel, out of Egypt. Exodus 3:10
- Assurance of involvement (11-17).
And God said to Moses, "I
AM WHO I AM." And He said, "Thus you shall say to the
children of Israel, "I AM has sent me to you." Exodus
3:14
- Success of involvement (18-22).
…and after that he
will let you go. And I will give this people favor in the sight
of
the Egyptians; and it shall be, whey you go, that you shall
not go empty-handed. Exodus 3:20-21
What I can learn from a Lego
about involvement
- Every piece is a gift.
Having then gifts
differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us
use them… Romans
12:6
- Every piece is part of something bigger.
For as we have many members in one body, but all the members
do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one
body in Christ, and individually members of one another. Romans 12:4-5
- Every piece has a role to play.
Let us
use them: let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; or ministry,
let us use it in
our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching; he who exhorts,
in
exhortation… Romans 12:6-8
- Every piece is dependent on other pieces.
So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually
members of one another. Romans 12:5
One Last Thought What are you going to do with your piece? Make a decision today
