DAY 4: all over it!

What Act of Kindness could you do for your parents/guardian that if you did it, it would surprise them and demonstrate your love for them? Pray for them as you serve them. Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.

Honor your father and mother - which is the first commandment with a promise. Ephesians 6:2

Suggestions

• We need to live out our faith at home. If you "live it out" at home, you can "live it out" anywhere.
• Once you've decided on the job or chore, make sure you have all the materials or equipment needed. Get up early and get started. Be ready for your parents to question why you're volunteering to do these chores. They may say something like, "OK, what do you want?" Try to share the gospel today without using words. It's important to do this day with joyful attitude.

Adults
Do something out of the ordinary for your family. Take them out to eat or just spend a family day together.
