DAY 19: meet the family

Get up earlier than usual to pray for your friend that nothing will hinder him/her from coming with you to church.

And let us… spur one another on to love and good deeds, and let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another… Hebrews 10:24-25

Suggestions

• Make sure your pastor knows that you're bringing a non-Christian friend with you to church. Give your friend a call on Saturday to remind him/her that you're going to pick him/her up in the morning.
• Introduce your friend to your pastor and/or youth leader.
• Make sure to introduce your friend to other believers. Don't speak any negative words about what happens at church and participate with enthusiasm.
• Follow up the day by asking your friend for their thoughts about the experience. Be ready to listen.

Adults
Take your friend to church. If possible, take them out to lunch afterward, so that you can talk to them about the service.
