DAY 18: Love your dad
Do something to get closer to your dad or stepdad. Find a way to spend time with him. Possibly do a project with him. The important thing is to let him know he is important to you. Thanks Dad!
The father of a righteous man has great joy; he who has a wise son delights in him. Proverbs 23:24
- Even if you have a difficult relationship with your dad, be
forgiving, and try to build a better relationship with him. Remember,
you're not called to "like" him; you're called by God
to "love" him.
- Consider writing a note… "Thank you, Dad, for
teaching me about life, for giving me responsibilities, for showing
me how to deal with tough times."
- If you don't have a relationship with your dad, choose a Christian
male adult who has helped you or influenced you.
Do something special for your dad, husband, or a special male friend in your life. Spend the day with them, or do something special for them.
